KERRY COOPER COLLINS, AssociateKERRY COOPER COLLINS was born in Orange Park, Florida in 1969. She was raised in Keystone Heights, Florida where she completed her primary and secondary education. Ms. Collins attended Flagler College, in St. Augustine, Florida, where she earned her B.A. degree in 1991. Subsequently, she attended the University of North Florida where she obtained her Master of Business Administration degree in 1997. Upon returning to the classroom in 2002, she earned her law degree from the University of Florida in 2006. During law school she completed a judicial externship with the Florida Supreme Court and participated as a pupil member with the Chester Bedell Inn of Court. She was also awarded the Judge James B. Whitfield Constitutional Law Merit Scholarship. Upon completion of law school, Ms. Collins moved to Omaha, Nebraska where she started her own law firm which specialized in family and juvenile law. Ms. Collins is married and has two children with her husband who is a Commander in the United States Navy. She is a member of the Florida Bar Association as well as the Nebraska State Bar Association. Her practice areas include civil trial and appellate practice, insurance coverage and defense, products liability, and professional malpractice defense.
