KERRY COOPER COLLINS, AssociateKERRY COOPER COLLINS was born in Orange Park, Florida. She was raised in Keystone Heights, Florida where she completed her primary and secondary education. Ms. Collins attended Flagler College, in St. Augustine, Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree. Subsequently, she attended the University of North Florida where she obtained her Master of Business Administration degree. Upon returning to the classroom, she earned her law degree from the University of Florida in 2006. During law school she completed a judicial externship with the Florida Supreme Court. She also participated as a pupil member with the Chester Bedell Inn of Court in Jacksonville, Florida. At the University of Florida she was also awarded the Judge James B. Whitfield Constitutional Law Merit Scholarship. Ms. Collins is married and has two children with her husband who is a Commander in the United States Navy. She is a member of the Florida Bar Association, Nebraska State Bar Association, Jacksonville Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, and the Jacksonville Area Defense Councel She is also admitted to practice before the United States Middle District Court of Florida and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Her practice areas include civil trial and appellate practice, insurance coverage and defense, products liability, and professional malpractice defense.
